Clematis ‘Violet Elizabeth’ (1962) is a very hard-to-find cultivar that is worth the search. The delicate mauve-pink blossoms are thick and luscious as they unfold. Clematis ‘Violet Elizabeth’ produces fully double flowers early in the season, followed by delicate singles in September.
